Flor de Cana 12 Year Centenario Rum
Review

Medium amber in color. Pungent aromas of cotton candy, black tea, orange peel, and coffee cake. Opens slowly and then blossoms with orange flower water, clover honey, peppermint, and strawberry notes. Continues with complex and subtle heat and a touch of oak lingering into a pleasant one minute finish. Some slight pine and citrus flavors at the very end. This is a buttery, slightly sweet style with good acidity to balance it out. Eminently drinkable on its own or with a little water to open it up. Tasted 7/16/2007.
