One of several Daiquiri variations from Bar La Florida Cocktails, the Num. 4 is basically a Hemingway Daiquiri without the grapefruit juice.
The tart/sweet balance is very important in this drink. If it is out of whack either way just a little, the drink will not perform up to it's enormous potential.
This Daiquiri should be on the tart end of the spectrum. As the ice melts, the tartness will mellow some. You may need to fine tune the quantities presented here to suit your palate.
