Brooklyn
- 2 oz Rye Whiskey
- 3/4 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 2 barspoons Amer Picon
- 2 barspoons Maraschino Liqueur
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Lemon twist.

The Brooklyn is a variation on the Manhattan substituting Maraschino and Amer Picon for the bitters. Amer Picon is lost to history so see the link for substitutes.
This original version used sweet vermouth. Nowadays you will see a Brooklyn with dry vermouth. I think the original is better, though not quite as distinct from the Manhattan.
