Hendrick's Gin

Clear. Fragrant, floral aromas of buffalo grass and menthol. Opens gradually into a dry profile--the cucumber is faint but it's there. The coriander and almond are more pronounce and the juniper is rather reserved. Spicy heat interrupts the botanicals and is followed by a clean and dry finish. The antithesis of big, wet, juniper-laced gin--more reserved, soft, and dry. Tasted 9/16/2008.
