Metaxa Five Star Brandy
This Greek brandy is blended with muscat wine along with a secret herbal blend and select botanicals. It is quite different than straight brandy.

Amber. Strawberries, custard, and muscat grapes in the nose. Opens quickly with orange peel and muscat flavors. Follows with some heat. Some tannins lead to a short finish. Astringent heat remains for some time. Rather fat/flat, with little acidity until the unbalanced burn at the end. Drink on the rocks or with club soda. Tasted 5/9/2007.
