- 1 oz Aged Rum
- 1 oz Aged Jamaican Rum
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- 1 tsp Falernum
- 1/2 oz Water
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
Build in a rocks glass with ice. Stir and garnish with a spent lime hull.

I came up with this while experimenting with tradition Fix variations. Some Jamaican rum funk seems to play nicely with the lime and falernum. Try Smith & Cross or Appleton 12 Year.
For the other rum, I use a good non-Jamaican aged rum such as Plantation 5 Year. You need a little sweetness with one to counter the Jamaican.
