Whiskey Sling
- 2 oz Rye Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Water
- 1/2 tsp Superfine Sugar
- 1 pinch Nutmeg (grated fresh)
Stir liquid ingredients together with ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with nutmeg.

The Sling eventually evolved into the Bittered Sling which was basically the first cocktail. To make up for the loss of the bitters, choose a full flavored whiskey for this drink as there is not much going on in the other ingredients.
