Midleton Very Rare Irish Whisky
Review
89
Medium amber in color. Darker than most Irish whiskys. Light honey and lemon peel aromas. Starts with just a touch of smokey oak, then leads into a medium-full body of malt flavor. Raisin notes follow. Oak is pronounced. Medium long finish that is a little unbalanced with some undesirable heat. Tasted 3/29/2007.
