The lemon and ginger approximate a real English Victorian lemonade which is brewed from lemon, ginger and botanicals. You can buy this stuff already bottled as Fentimans Victorian Lemonade.
Easy Pimm's Cup
If you don't want to make the syrup, here is an easier way to make this drink which is still very good.
- 2 oz Pimm's No 1
- 2 oz Fever Tree Light Ginger Beer
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 1 tsp superfine sugar
- 1 - 2 oz club soda
Mix the lemon juice and sugar in the bottom of the serving glass to dissolve the sugar. Add ice, Pimm's, ginger beer and soda. Give it one quick stir. Garnish with berries, lemon or orange wedges (or peels) and cucumber if you like.
