Clear. Earthy, anise, and damp pine forest aromas. Opens lightly with some herbal notes followed by almonds and lemon peel. Then spearmint, menthol, and slight astringent, peppery heat. Fairly long finish, especially for a blanco. A solid effort, lean at first, then more full on the finish. Tasted 2/9/2008.
